Be aware that some of the documents requiring notarization may also require witnesses. ​The following information is provided in a sequential manner to make it much easier for clients to follow and obtain a successful and stress-free hospital mobile notarization

  • Ensure all signers are alert and aware of the document(s) they are signing, can communicate, and can sign independently.

    • It may be helpful to inform the medical staff of the patient's (or family member's) ability to sign the documents and the requirements for an ombudsman, if one is needed to meet the facility's rules/regulations/requirements. Remember, notaries public are not doctors and cannot provide legal advice unless they possess the necessary credentials, nor can they assist in filling out the documents.​

  • Ensure all documents are printed and completed, except for the signatures, before the notary arrives.​​

    • Notaries public are not authorized by law to assist in filling out the documents. However, My Home Notary Service can assist you in printing and scanning your documents should you need these services. 

  • If you need printing and/or scanning services, My Home Notary Service can assist you with both requests; you may email your documents for printing to homenotaryservices@gmail.com​

  • Documents are considered completed when all blank spaces are addressed,​ and all pages are included at the time of the notarization. DO NOT JUST BRING THE NOTARIZATION PAGE

  • ​Ensure that the singer has a valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID. Please click here to see the list of IDs currently accepted for the notarization of your documents.

  • If your document is set up to have document witnesses, and their signatures are required to be notarized, ensure that they also have and bring their valid, unexpired government-issued photo ID

  • If you are unable to be present (caller) at the time of notarization for your client or family member, please let us know how we can help you receive the signed documents. ​
